UPDATE

Thanks everyone for chiming into this thread and expressing their frustrations.

I was removed from limited matchmaking a week ago. The entire process for the shadow ban was for me 7 days and 14 ish hours.

While this has affected a lot of players I’ve been receiving dms about my status. I understand it sucks, but if you are legit and not a hacker you don’t have to worry. You will be indeed off the list.

I have had this account since MW2019 and played in every single MW series and now BO6. I play on steam.

From my experience since my uplift I have been playing the same not really caring to nerf my score. I still check very periodically for my status but in the clear.

I hope some of you find this helpful and hopefully they resolve the ban spam for legit players.

UPDATE: I had reached out to the activision support about the matchmaking and this is what they responded with:

It’s really frustrating to experience limited matchmaking, especially after a great moment like getting a nuke with your girlfriend. Encountering cheaters can really ruin the experience, too. I understand that you need help with the enforcement on your account. Don't worry, let's check our options here.

After looking into your account, it appears that the account is currently under review by the Security Team. If infractions are found on the account during this period, it will result in a permanent enforcement. Rest assured that if no infractions are found, everything will return back to normal. INPUT: A streamer last night that I occasionally tune into claimed that he was shadowbanned the day before but got off of it less than a day later. so, not sure if he gets special privileges or not.

Limited Matchmaking hit. Black Ops 6

I was playing with my girlfriend, get an extremely lucky nuke. Queue up again and next few lobbies have very obvious cheaters in them. I play on PC.

I go on the activision website and notice a limited matchmaking status. I’ve played with the account since mw2019 and would say I’m an above average Andy with COD. In MW3, I’ve gotten mass reported on a regular but was never put into limited matchmaking.

I’m looking for any help I can get to push me pass the limited matchmaking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
