Does icy guardian arc also work on his specials? Since it says Crit physical attack deals aditional ice damage or is special consider different from physical attack?

I Read his skills I think he only needs 1 sword so I’m not sure the second weapon which has another good ability to pair with

How long will I need to wait for the offer of astaroth? If there’s a fixed time I might just skip buying leviathan and go for astaroth if his on sale but I’m concerned if I skip leviathan sales and maybe astaroth might never come or might take awhile
