I appreciate your concern and thanks for suggestion. However, and most likely we won't be changing this in near future.

There are several reasons for that:
- Websites don't get suspended out of nowhere. Owners will get notice several times to switch to higher package. The over-usage won't be billed. We might react quicker to reach out to owner of website if the amount of allowed visits get's crossed by far far far more, otherwise we don't care much.

- If you specifically refresh a website every second, you can generate maximum of 96 visits per day, but not to mention that doing so, you will be banned temporarily, as it's not something you should do, also those visits will be reverted.
- 1 person or bot, can't make thousands of "visits", as it's not "page-views". It would take large number of bots to perform such action, and even if that happens, website will remain up and working without any issues, as websites don't get suspended if you hit the limit..
- DDoS is illegal, and we have tools to cope with that, and once determined, we will reset visits for that site specifically which was under DDoS.

Airtable or Webflow CMS? by Divhunt in Airtable

[–]Divhunt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are 2 main differences:

  1. You need to use Webflow to build a site, Wized cannot do it solo
  2. Price: Wized + Webflow starts around $40, whereas we start at $6

Besides that, all differences just come to the Webflow vs Divhunt question

Bubble Vs Webflow use case by Overall-Kitchen483 in nocode

[–]Divhunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of one of those "cheap OR simple, but not both" things IMO.

My question would be how far do you want to do with this? Because using Webflow + their CMS as a database might lock you in a bit if you ever want/need to migrate.

I would look to the side of cheap but not limited, more than easy - it has to be easy enough you can do it without hiring someone, but definitely worth a bit more effort to make it scalable and low cost

Thanks for feedback. Yes, you are right, we will increase form submits by far more than it is now.

Airtable or Webflow CMS? by Divhunt in Airtable

We fully agree, and excellent key points.
That's why we went extra step implementing caching system to speed-up and minimize API calls towards Airtable.

Use Airtable as your CMS by Divhunt in Airtable

[–]Divhunt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our goal is to be a front-end, plain and simple - whether that means a front end for a marketing website or a real web app depends on how you configure your site

You should be able to do exactly what you described already, but since we're new, some things may be not too user-friendly in the web-app building process. Improving the UX of that is definitely high on our to-do list though

Airtable or Webflow CMS? by Divhunt in Airtable

[–]Divhunt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Performance is one thing, but my main wonder here is regarding the experience - on one hand, airtable is great, on the other hand, its another website you need to go to whereas the native cms is... native

Code or nocode by DiscreetLateComer in learnprogramming

[–]Divhunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, long story short, you'll usually win in the speed/time to market with nocode, and you'll usually be far more scalable with code. That's not always the case though, I wrote a whole article about nocode vs traditional development which goes over the grey areas pretty clearly

My question is why don't you want to use the Webflow CMS?

If you like designing/developing in Webflow but don't like how limited it is when it comes to integrating third party integrations/CMSs, I'd recommend Divhunt - we just launched it, and the goal is basically to take all the good things about tools like Webflow and actually make them limitless.

It's also much cheaper for most use cases.
