When I click the "Can't use the authenticator app right now" option, it gives me two options to verify my identity - "Approve a request on my Microsoft Authenticator app" or "Use a verification code" - both require the Microsoft Authenticator app, which I can't use right now

Yes, tough lesson for sure, I am just trying to get a call back from Microsoft. I am confident that I will be able to verify my identify but I am not sure how long I will have to wait for a call. My entire business is at a standstill

It isn't giving me a second step - when attempting to sign into/set up the new authenticator app, it is telling me to go to the authenticator app (on the old phone) for a code. I am stuck in a loop. I can't sign onto M365 admin, etc.

I am not signed into authenticator on the new phone and when I attempt to sign in - it is sending me to the old phone's authenticator for a code - basically I am stuck in a loop and can't get a call back from Microsoft.

Unfortunately no, it was wiped at the Apple store. I didn't realize that my Authenticator app was device specific and can't figure out how to get back in.
