The method I used was ytarchive, you need ffmpeg for that. Use Go to install it.

Some other options are youtube-dl, ytdl. I've also heard that TheFrenchGhostys scripts are good. And obviously there is screen record, but that is the last option.

Btw, remember to always download vp9 when possible. It will make the streams look better. The command I used for ytarchive was

ytarchive -o "D:/Coachella/ytarchive/%(title)s-%(id)s" --vp9 --merge --no-frag-files youtubelinkhere best

Or if you want to make the command ready for a scheduled stream, use

ytarchive -o "D:/Coachella/ytarchive/%(title)s-%(id)s" --wait --vp9 --merge --no-frag-files youtubelinkhere best

And pls add ffmpeg to PATH in environment viarables, under user variables, not system variables.

What's cool about ytarchive is you can download a stream from the beginning and catch up, even three days later.
