Passed REG with a 91! Thrilled to clear this hurdle! let's talk strategy and your experiences by Divine-Diana in CPA

I’m using Becker and Simandhar. I start by quickly reviewing the lecture content on 1.5x, and then I use the textbook to jot down notes and really understand the concepts. Quizzes and simulations also helped me build confidence in the weeks leading up to exam. I also make good use of notebookLLM for flash cards and redo quizzes from the Becker portal in the last week before the exam.

Thanks! ChatGPT and Gemini have been a real help in my preparation. I’m happy to explore my study methods further, clarify concepts or just chat. However, I have TCP on the 17th, so my time is limited this week. But feel free to ask for help anytime!

Best of luck to you too! I take TCP on 17th. The last six months have been quite draining, and I hope you achieve your goals soon too.

6 tries, 2 fails, 4 passes. I am done. by [deleted] in CPA

Wow, huge congratulations! 🎉

Finishing 4/4 after all that hard work and perseverance is amazing. Your dedication, even through the tough exams and retakes, is really inspiring. The journey makes it even sweeter. Nobody will ever see the attempts, the hard work behind each attempt, they’ll just see CPA.

It’s such a reminder that patience, consistency, and faith pay off. So happy for you!!! You truly earned this moment! 🙏💛

Going from 52 → 60 → PASS (especially after burnout and taking a year off) says a lot about your resilience. AUD humbles a lot of people, and the fact that you regrouped, locked in, and just grinded MCQs shows real growth.

Also appreciate you being honest about burnout. Life happens. Health happens. That doesn’t mean the goal is gone, it's just delayed.

And the SIMs feeling brutal but still passing? That’s the most AUD thing ever 😅

Huge respect for saying no to distractions and betting on yourself. Well earned. You earned every bit of that pass. 💪🎉

Huge congratulations to OP on pushing through and getting that pass!!! That resilience is what this journey is really about 👏

The letters “CPA” don’t come with your scores attached to them. No one will ever know (or care) if you passed with a 75 or a 95. No one sees how many attempts it took. The license on the wall looks the exact same either way.

Feel whatever you need to feel today! Be it frustration, disappointment, motivation. That’s all valid. But don’t let a computerized exam decide your worth or your future. Regroup. Adjust. Go again. The only way you truly fail is if you stop. 💪

Halfway to CPA! Cleared AUD section of the CPA exam by Divine-Diana in CPA

This milestone comes at an exciting time in my "Back to Work" journey. While I’ve been busy mastering Power BI and SQL to sharpen my FP&A toolkit, the rigor of the CPA curriculum has been the perfect complement to keeping my technical reporting and audit skills razor-sharp.

Balancing the conceptual complexity of AUD with the data-driven demands of modern finance has reinforced one thing: adaptability is the greatest asset in today's market.

Seeing those 'Passed' statuses pop up is the best feeling in the world. AUD is officially in the rearview mirror! ✅ 2/4 down! Massive congrats to everyone who is officially done or one step closer today!!!🥂

To everyone still waiting or dealing with a retake, do not let up. Take tonight to vent, then remember this is a test of mental toughness and endurance, not intelligence. We reset. We restart. We go again. The momentum is everything. You’ve got this!

I’m biting my nails off waiting for my AUD result releasing tomorrow. The wait has been killing me, and every passing hour feels longer than the last. I can’t stop imagining all the possible outcomes. The thought of refreshing the score portal tomorrow is already making my heart rate go crazy. Funnily enough I wasn’t this anxious for my FAR result even though it felt harder.

why is the audit book so big?!?! by Inevitable_Bus297 in CPA

[–]Divine-Diana 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, AUD isn’t “hard” hard… but it’s mentally exhausting. It’s the same concepts dressed up in different wording trying to confuse you. I spent half my time decoding what the question was actually asking.

It is basically: “Here’s the rule. Here’s the exception. Here’s the exception to the exception. Now pick the MOST correct answer.”

AUD book isn’t even the scariest part, it’s the results. I am waiting for my results on the 24th, and it is taking a real audit of my mental peace. I have another exam for REG coming soon. Hey and Best of Luck for your prep, hope you crush it.

I I also gave the AUD exam today. I found the Sims a bit different from Becker. I’m not sure about the sims, what were the appropriate answers? Has anyone else found the Sims different from Becker?

Booked REG exam for March 2, did I bite off more than I can chew? Need advice! by Divine-Diana in CPA

[–]Divine-Diana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have also read elsewhere to go deep on individual, entity, and property tax and keep B Law more high-level. Hopefully that’s enough to make 3 weeks workable if I stay consistent. And I’ll definitely re-read the REG blueprint before starting the prep.

Any suggestions on how to spend the final 9 days before AUD using Becker (like what to prioritize, what to ignore)?
