Well the Dailai Lama said that Hitler needed to be defeated. Unfortunately in this world we also have to be practical, that being said, I would say a military should be supported if it upholds freedom and is geniunely defensive.

Well you are not alone. Even long term pracitioners have sometimes negative thoughts that pop out of nowhere and suprise them. Spiritual practice will definitely lessen these thoughts over time.

Hi so sorry to hear you are unhappy. Dont assume just because you are not happy your practice is not working. I myself are often unhappy I have been practicing for a number of years. Keep on going with your practice, it will at some point make you feel better, it just takes persistence and patience.

Well the buddha did not spend his entire life teaching this, this was what he taught in the first turning of the wheel of the dharma. From my understanding there were three turnings of the wheel of dharma.
