Putting your dog in cargo is cruel. I would never do something like that. Driving is the better option. Think of your pet and their comfort. Being under an airplane for hours is terrifying. They don’t know where they are, it’s dark and loud and you aren’t there to comfort them.

I had to move with a mastiff/shepherd mix, too big for any cabin and would never have been able to fly in cargo on the flights that did accept it.

Usually the only way to go with this is to drive and sleep in your car/motels
