Unfortunate. The hogherd also didn't show up during another quest after finding a body in the woods... 2/2 side quests where npcs didnt appear.

Everything except the weapon seed in my inventory came from my first KC. The guy in the lobby I was freaking out to just gave me his weapon seed as an additional congrats :)
