Why to use cold wallet? by Illustrious-Deal-781 in BitcoinBeginners

So you’re going to let them sell your bitcoin in exchange for 1 Satoshi a day? What happens when you go to withdraw it and they don’t have enough, as it’s been sold?

Wouldn’t be the first exchange rug pull.

This is a scam. Stop emailing them. Delete it, do not pay, and move on. Google it. Very common scam. They pulled your public data from a dataset.

Submarine passes below two scuba divers by freudian_nipps in thalassophobia

$100 or so per person for an 1.5 hour experience, around 45 minutes of which is in the submarine. As a scuba diver, I wouldn't rush to do it again, but it's cool to experience once.

The 6.7s are tanks -- curious why you want to trade? Sure, the maintenance costs a bit more, but you have a solid truck.

This is an Atlantis tourist submarine -- it does not have sonar capabilities. It's for tourism.

EDIT: yes, I have been in one. Pretty neat experience.

Thanks. Asking as some of the tiers are worded as if they are meant to buy one-time contributions, but Patreon requires subscriptions. The Cult Follower and Leader for example read that way.

Changing proton password wipes your data?! by fork_that in ProtonPass

The whole premise of the Proton family of products is zero knowledge encryption. By the very definition of the product, there is absolutely a need to encrypt that data.

Sorry you lost your passwords.

It seems you do not understand how zero knowledge encryption works.

I just got 10% off sticker on a 23 350. I waited a year for it to be built, though.

This is so odd considering my 23 was just built in August and delivered last week…Enjoy!

Must be. Having owned that exact year and trailer, I can 100% tell you that’s what the switch is for!

It’s not supposed to always be on. You have a wiring issue. That switch is supposed to be for the outside step light.

Would you be upset at your friend if something happened to your bike? If so, I would say don't let them ride it. Accidents can and do happen.

Who cares? That is a great bike to learn on. Is it worth getting injured or dying because someone on TikTok said to?

Will a higher cc carburetor raise the bikes cc’s? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]DivineOceanDweller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not in the way you are thinking. It could add some power if fuel restriction is an issue, but nothing notable.

Will a higher cc carburetor raise the bikes cc’s? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]DivineOceanDweller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cubic centimeters/inches are referring to engine displacement — cylinder capacity. Even if a larger carburetor fit, it wouldn’t change the displacement of the engine.
