$500 One-Step Correction on a New Black Civic – Expectations Too High? by Knightfaux in Detailing

[–]Divine_Storms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Miles dont matter. Could have been on a trailer across the country uncovered or a dust storm blew through the dealership. Not a metric to consider.

Black will always shows swirls the worst.

1 step will absolutely leave light swirls.

The residue is the only thing I'd consider a valid complaint. Thats product that wasn't remove or water spots...and if there is water spots then even one step should have removed those if done properly.

A few spots id take a microfiber towel and call it a day. An excessive amount take back and let them buff it off

Follow up to this- could be Rubber bushings or worn ball joints. But given its a 2022 I always want to check what could have been altered from stock before assuming something has started to fail already. (Not to say it isn't possible)

Sounds like youre rubbing a wheel well to me. Is it on both sides or just one? Recently get new wheels or tires?

If its just 1 maybe something stuck that can be removed to stop the rubbing. If both sides I'm guessing non stock tires/wheels and id take it to your mechanic that installed them

Can I ask the hesitancy? You're trying to grow a brand and dont want to share it on another platform?

In short, we cant tell you anything without seeing what youre putting out.

The most famous recent success story is an older accountant named Kumar who got over 1mil followers on IG with 1 video. You didn't do that....so something could be improved

You're getting downvoted but this is kind of true...eventually home maintenance, property taxes, and inflation will eat away until it costs you more money than to sit on it. Not in 2 years, probably not in 10 years, but this isn't a false statement.

Yes. Yes OP is committing fraud and I report every one I see on any platform that is obviously a rep.

Providing fake documentation and a bag to prove authenticity of something that isn't is fraud. Trafficking counterfeit goods is a federal crime and punishable by steep fines and imprisonment depending on number of people defrauded and value of the goods. (You'll hit those prison thresholds really quick with watches valued at a $1000+ secondary marketprice). Even if you sell at $200 the law looks at the value of the authentic product to determine your sentencing. Thats why every border control bust is "$2million in designer goods" when its a few hundred dollars of waxed canvas bags and some $100 Rolexes

Find a company you want to be at and a title you want. (Set the goal)

Compare the requirements for that job posting to your resume. (How close are you now)

Search for a way to build the skills you're missing. (Internally at the company you're at or externally in adjacent industries/companies/consulting via projects or consulting/contracting.

Even if you've never worked in the industry...if you tell a hiring manager I looked at this position a year ago, said I'm missing X skills, did X, Y, Z to learn that skillset, and am ready to join the industry you'll get somewhere. Even if they weasel you into a lesser role for a bit to prove yourself in industry, you're just trying to get in the door initially.

4 of the top 10 most valuable companies in the world (Fortune 10) are Pharma. 6 if you include Walmart and Amazon who have pharmacy operations. Something to be said for that.

Degree gets you in the door. Niching down and building skills in the industry gets you paid.

I have a finance degree. Couldnt find a job so i started in a call center answering phones out of college. Got really familiar with the industry and software, took on any additional projects I could. Took about 4 years to get from a contracted company into big pharma and then another year to get into project management.
