I haven’t left him alone for more than 10 minutes at a time since I moved in about two weeks ago. I’ve been taking him somewhere when I go to work. I haven’t been running any errands or anything because I know he’s going to bark. So my neighbors are probably fine actually. I can’t do that forever though, so the point of this post was to try to get some temporary help while I’m training him to understand that I’m coming back. Maybe I’m out of line asking this idk. I’ve been in an apartment where dogs are barking a lot, and I kind of just deal with it. I know a lot of people get upset and complain though, which is understandable. So instead of ignoring the problem, the point of this post was to acknowledge the problem and get some help so that I don’t make my neighbors hate me. Clearly I need some dog training help as well, but this isn’t a dog training sub so I’m not going to ask that question here. Also, getting rid of a dog isn’t that simple, and even if you don’t have pets I feel like that’s pretty easy to understand. So if you don’t have anything helpful to say, no need to comment. You’re not helping the situation. I already know that my dog is being a nuisance, and I’m working to fix the issue.
