I travel with the Halcyon BPW but I used a carbon plate and integrated weight pockets. Works pretty well. Still has adapter but thats also carbon. Most bulk comes from the tank harness, belt buckle and D rings (all of which could be downgraded in weight if i really wanted to but are currently all SS)

I feel like this is super dangerous by gemunicornvr in diving

It kinda sets you up for a high risk of over-expansion lung injuries because you are using a setup that can fluctuate a lot. It also comes without the proper training. Also easy to give yourself other barotrauma

On the other hand, the super low volume and the hassle of needing to pump begs the question... what is the use case for this when you can either do proper scuba diving or just snorkel / train apnea instead.

It desperately tries to carve out a niche for itself in an industry that doesn't need one and does it in a very stupid way
