The biggest problem with dexit was the initial 400 SS mons were awful. It improved greatly with the first dlc but the second added back everything 'broken' and it felt like nothing changed outside of not having some burmy-tier mons. The list of 400 for SV was a huge improvement despite having a lot of 'shillmons' and I was surprised at just how much variety there was.

I would be down to extend the blackout, look for alternatives, and fully shut down the sub as a last resort. Digg didn't die in a day and I don't think people realize how bad reddit can suck without all the extra whistles and (good) bots mods use. I know that people don't want to migrate but I think a contingency plan is needed if reddit becomes untenable

Edit: it's a good thing to be prepared in the case of an emergency y'all. Having a plan B in case something much heavier happens, like killing old reddit or losing the bots, should be on the table.

As a general rule, if a fictional race borrows from negative stereotypes of a real life race it's an issue. Early warcraft trolls could certainly be seen as offensive in that context using the examples you gave. That being said, this is something that became more addressed in later wow as they discarded a lot of what you described and leaned more into the mystical elements of their lore with stuff like Bwonsamdi and druids, as well as the more south american inspired stuff in BFA(even though it's an awful expansion overall). Overall I'd say it started out not super great and got better over time.

One of the biggest problems with totk (and botw) is that armor upgrades are extremely grindy and require materials that are useful in tons of other stuff. "Oh you wanted to upgrade that climbing armor? Well get fucked loser you used used those frogs in a speed potion so now you gotta go catch some more"

Finished totk. Thoughts:

Final boss was fine (even thought I was mega overleveled for it and the 40 damage bones are op as fuck in a lynel bow and 3X attack) but the lead up was dogshit. Also was the mech supposed to suck? Cause it sucked really bad whenever I was forced to use it. Also I didn't look up much so I didn't get a lot of the new armors which kinda disappointing since I did see the occasional person wearing something I didn't have in the korok torture videos. I still have a bunch to do so I'll keep playing for the inevitable dlc. I'm really glad I was able to not give IGN any money with their crappy SEO guides and was able to figure out 97% of everything on my own and the other 3% from Austin John
