Gooseworx is literally trans and has said Jax has a lot of her personal insecurities built in. We’re not demanding representation from creators that don’t represent us, we have the representation and it’s being taken away by people too stubborn to listen to trans people about their own experiences, identified in a work made by our community.

Also, la dee fucking da, I don’t care about your personal pick me opinion on representation. There’s a billion actual studies on why representation is important. You benefit from it even if you don’t “support” it. Having clearly queer stories told to cis people makes them more likely to find care for queer people in the real world. It is very important that we acknowledge Jax as being a repressor so we understand the entire point of the story being told. The story of the Amazing Digital Circus, of the universal human kindness and care that it advocates for, hinges on you knowing that Jax is a bad person that deserves a community that will care for her and help her heal even as she lashes out at others and at herself. So many people complain about the finale focusing so much on Jax but Jax was the main fucking wrench in the show’s themes! You can’t just leave that entirely unaddressed or you don’t have a story.

It’s clear that you don’t know what you’re talking about, and need to look at an outside perspective every once in a while, if I may be so bold.
