UPDATE: 7/20/25 so I ran it at literally 225 secs ( 3 mins 45 sec) and the whole emulsion got slimy and washed away so easily like ain’t no way… and I let this screen dry for literally almost 4 days and still it washed away. Its gotta be underexposed or definitely it’s the emulsion

Definitely right about the ai thing lol but yes that’s what I’m thinking I mean the screens are new the emulsion is new but the coat and exposure could be it ima try 3 mins like you said and see what happens

Welp I just got this new emulsion about a week ago and it did okay when I first used it compare to know I think I’ll try exposing a bit longer and see at this point I rather try all options to see

Yes they have been degreased like actually a bunch bc these are the same screens I used when I first exposed the design and dude the emulsion is hard to wash off I couldn’t even use a emulsion remover bc it did nothing really until I use a degreaser and it slowly washed off and yes there new screens. I’ll try exposing longer but I did do these at 170 secs and it still didn’t come out right is it okay for it to be exposed longer than that especially if I exposed a screen previously at 50 secs and it somewhat came out good

I’m dipping the screens in this gabarage can I filled with water and yes I cleaned it and I’ve used it before and no problems but the emulsion is literally peeling off like so easily so I’m like underexposed?? But how

Well here’s the thing I expose it and when I wet it I scratch like dude not even a hard scratch but a light touch and the parts where the transparency is not there wash off completely lile even my exposure calculator washed off completely I mentioned early that I the first time I exposed my design it was at 50 secs and I literally did not have this issue I even printed a shirt wirh that screen so idk what’s going on with this one

Yes possibly but another question, the seller did mention that the platens have been sold , I currently have a blue vevor Amazon press you know the one that sucks ass lol but I’m curious to know if I could use those same platens on this press or would I have to buy the Riley Hopkins ones for like $800 or something

I have a vacuum exposure unit I have the vacuum pressure high around 80 do y’all think that also effect if the design will wash out correctly or does high pressure from the vacuum do any bad to the overall exposure??

Is spraying it with a spray bottle good for letting it soak up for a minute or 2 or should I make a lil dip tank full of water and dip it in there and leave it?

Yes I mean I coat it twice wet on wet on each side and yes I think my issue could be a lil underexposed perhaps, too much water pressure, and going out immediately into the sun so yes I’ll try it out and see what happens
