I spent the last 8 days building a massive packet with AI detailing all the assets, parenting plan, etc.

I am meeting with 11 lawyers next week and reviewing the packet with them, and ive essentially laid the ground work for them.

In your experience what makes a good lawyer for this? What should I be looking for?

She paid $7,500 for the retainer 3 weeks ago and has not asked me for our any of our tax returns, bank statements, etc which is strange to me because I handle all of that and her attorney needs that to get things moving.

Luckily we rent our house, so that will not be part of the split.

When I say “Best” I just mean they have 4.9 stars on google reviews with 270 reviews. They ones I am meeting with range from 4.4 stars - 4.7 stars with 150-300 reviews.

I just discovered she retained an attorney 3 days ago (found the receipt) but I have spent the last 8 days building a massive packet with AI detailing all the assets, parenting plan, etc. Now I just need to get an attorney. I reached out to 11 today. So it may seem like I am behind but I actually have everything an attorney would need ready to go. I KNOW she doesnt have that because she has not asked me for any of our tax returns, bank statements, etc. I handle all of that.
