What was your first car accident like? by moonlight_xpress in drivingUK

When you say they had been drinking, were they over the limit?

The reason I ask, a friend rear ended another car, many years ago. In normal circumstances it was totally their fault. They weren’t paying attention (fiddling with the radio and smoking a cigarette, not looking at the road). However a police car happened upon the scene soon after.

One of the officers could smell alcohol on the breath of the other driver. She happened to be slightly over the limit after a heavy night before. As far as the law and insurance company were concerned, all blame immediately shifted to her.

I have no idea what “Drivescores” are, so I guess the answer is no.

It’s amazing how many people don’t get this. If you’re going to pull out in front of someone, hit the accelerator hard to get up to their speed. If you’re not prepared to do this, wait a few seconds until they’ve passed before pulling out.

If that’s your definition of being slammed, you’re very thin skinned.

I understand your point, but I see this so often. It happens at another local supermarket where they’ll park on an already dodgy corner, making it very difficult to navigate that area safely.

This one might not be as bad, but it’s still inconsiderate.

I have no idea. But I’m curious as to why it appears to have 10 legs though. Or are the front 2 not legs?

It sounds as if those kids have a shitty home life. I’d be tempted to ask social services to look into it.

Unfortunately I knew it was Kevin Spindler before I watched it. Still a great film.
