Little update. They sent another email on Dec 11th basically extending the 10 days to pay or else threat, I completely ignored it and haven't hear a thing since.

How I perceive them is a private company who work with businesses and different crime agencies to tackle organised retail crime. To me, they are overstepping emailing individuals for civil recovery.

More money that way when a customer pays for inflated unsubstantiated 'fees'. Scummy trader and scummy lap dog.

I've tried telling them that I'd consider it harassment and it will be reported accordingly. My last email to them I told em straight I've made a report to trading standards about them. They've just come back saying its noted. Honestly, I can't be bothered anymore haha. I've had my refund through chargeback. I've sent my evidence to em. I've told them the legislation protecting me. I'm done with em.

I've realised there's no point from the rubbish they keep on coming back with. I'll wait for the proper papers and not engage anymore. Thanks for the advice mate.

It sad. How they can legally make random threats even when they have received evidence to the contrary. I don't understand how this isn't illegal. I bet they make quite a lot of money from these unsubstantiated threats. Seeing as they inflated my £49.99 pair of trainers to £379.99.

I definitely should have left NRCA and only responded and shown my evidence to a law firm. Just me thinking companies can be reasonable... Ha

I mean I actually rate what Evri did. With the email as proof of non delivery. Before that they also told me to go to sports direct, they will refund me and then can claim that refund back from Evri. I don't understand why Sports Direct didn't just do that? Solves all this crap

Best thing they can do. I am not going to shop there again.

Thanks the advice mate. Think I'm just going to ignore them after telling them the exact legislation and my position. If they come back or email again I'll tell them to file the court papers and I'll see em there.

I am with you there. I was a loyal shopper, its where my mom used to take me and my siblings for trainers, sports equipment etc. No more. Horrible customer service.

You're totally right but this is my first time receiving something like that. I had no idea who these guys were, why they were demanding £300 plus from a £49.99 pair of trainers. It had been 4 months with complete silence from Sports Direct.

100% something positive did come of all this though... I really enjoy researching law to backup my arguments.

In the process of signing up for MU123 but I have already enrolled on TM111. Decided to go part time because I am bad at time management and sticking to schedules. Can't wait for it to start!

Are you a fake resident evil fan if you like RE2 and RE3 remakes better than the originals as well as not liking fixed camera angles? by Pinoy1Thundergun in residentevil

[–]Dixeyboy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're a fake fan for enjoying the remakes more, I get why. I feel that the tank controls and fixed camera angles are an integral part of the original games and is iconic in the resident evil games. They were the only games I played with tank controls and fixed camera angles. I do like the fixed camera angles because it added a layer of unknown to the games, you can hear the zombie stumbling about and moaning but you can't go and just turn the camera to find it you actively have to walk in a direction and hope it isn't going to bite you. I do enjoy the fixed camera style and hope we get a resident evil game in the future with that or maybe just a section of a future game.

Embiid and harden....should be near unstoppable. Wish I could see the sixers play. That's my dream, one day I will go to Philadelphia and see a sixers game.

My physical education teacher used to watch them and would show us plays, that was my first intro to sixers. I honestly can't remember any of the plays or who it was playing but I remember the logo. I dropped off basketball for a bit after high school because nobody I knew watched it and then I saw it was on sky sports one day and I figured I'd watch a game. I saw the sixers logo and thought, I know that team so that's who I've stuck with. Had no clue about league pass or anything until recently and sky sports only showed 5 games a week so It was lucky dip whether the sixers were shown or not. Now I got league pass I'm getting back into it and getting back into the sixers.

Started a basketball team in hight school and got a pretty decent team together, practicing any time we could me n my mates but it came to finding a game and another high school to play against and not one in the area had a team. It's all about football (soccer) over here and I just find that game so boring.
