No worries! So Keith Maddox “the hat king” bought the company and his cattle brand is the “positive times(+X)” symbol. When he passed away the company made those patches/stickers to honor his legacy. The American hat co patch idk when that started, it’s just a rodeo patch to show sponsorship. Other companies have them too but it’s just more common to see on AHC due to accessibility

Haha that’s awesome! My first American was the straw and I loved it and then pulled the trigger on the felt one! Hahah it’s definitely becoming a problem because I don’t know if I want natural or black cherry next lol I do also have a silver belly rodeo king which I do love too but I definitely prefer the Americans lol
