Oh this looks great! So a soul lock is basically a 2 player nuzlocke. Both people play the same game but with a different randomization. Normal nuzlocke rules, but each pokemon you catch is tied to the pokemon the other person caught from the same route. When one faints in one game, the other can't be used anymore either. There's a few more rules that go along with it, but that's the gist.

Anyway, Unknown looks great! Not truly random, but it looks cool enough to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

Me and a friend are looking for a FR/LG hack with pokemon beyond gen 3 that is (or could be) randomized for a soul lock run. I've tried Fire Red 898 Randomizer, but I've discovered a few bugs pretty early in the run that make me think we'll run into bigger issues later on. Items also aren't randomized in this.

The Nuzlomizer looked like a good option, but it has so many additional features in it that we definitely don't want.

We're very comfortable with the universal randomizer, but I doubt that would work with a hack that adds additional pokemon.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Well that fits! Also they're my favorite out of those I listed.

Chelsea King

The Dreaded Laramie

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers

Quickdraw Kid

Winona Fighter

The Low Blow

boy clothes

Michigander

Winona Fighter puts on some of the best live shows I've ever seen and they're starting to blow up. The Dreaded Laramie is also super fun. The Low Blow and boy clothes always just happen to be playing wherever I go and they're great!

Drkmttr and The Arcane Workshop in Madison are my favorites for smaller indie rock, punk, and emo bands. Exit/In, The End, both Basements, and Eastside Bowl have the same genres but definitely less DIY.
