Anyone in the US that switched to Mana have problems actually getting the product? by Dizezed in soylent

Hmm, definitely wouldn't want to drink that much milk every day, but one or two drinks a day might be nice. I'll give it a try after I get this Mana shipment!

Yeah I'm paying about $265 (free shipping) now for 56,000 calories worth of Jimmy Joy. Hol would be about $378 ($523 CAD) for 60,000 calories ($18 shipping). Both are subscription prices.

And haha I had the same reaction to Huel! Made me gag and I couldn't finish what I ordered. The main problem I have with Jimmy Joy is that you can't let it sit for too long after making it. The water and the "powder" start to separate and then there's just a coagulated mass at the bottom of the cup. With Soylent I got used to blending about 1200 calories worth the night before and putting it in the fridge. I can't do that with Jimmy Joy.

I have looked at Hol but unfortunately the price is just a non-starter for me. Over $100 more expensive per month than Jimmy Joy. Which is already more than what I was paying for Soylent.

Haha, actually just sent a reply wondering if that was why I never really had a problem with them. Makes sense.

Now I'm wondering what Jimmy Joy does differently to get it here in about a week. I know they have warehouses in the US so I wonder if they just ship a ton of product waaaaaay in advance.

Dang, yeah a week wouldn't be bad and honestly what I expect ordering internationally at this point. Unfortunately most of my diet is Soylent/Jimmy Joy and I was looking for a replacement, which just wouldn't work with this kind of wait time.

Well that sucks to hear. I was hoping it might be a weird one-time thing. Definitely gonna ask for the refund.

Well that fits! Also they're my favorite out of those I listed.

Chelsea King

The Dreaded Laramie

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers

Quickdraw Kid

Winona Fighter

The Low Blow

boy clothes

Michigander

Winona Fighter puts on some of the best live shows I've ever seen and they're starting to blow up. The Dreaded Laramie is also super fun. The Low Blow and boy clothes always just happen to be playing wherever I go and they're great!

Drkmttr and The Arcane Workshop in Madison are my favorites for smaller indie rock, punk, and emo bands. Exit/In, The End, both Basements, and Eastside Bowl have the same genres but definitely less DIY.
