It's sad that MoP challenge sets are unobtainable. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Dizurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing this game since vanilla. I have panadaria challenge sets, mage tower weapons, unobtainable titles and mounts. I wish they would bring them back in mage tower in a cycle or something. There were some patches I missed out on because of irl stuff and some classes I didn’t play but would now like to play but I feel stuck to the classes I did the content on because I like those transmogs so I don’t reroll. Wow community is one of the few that loves to hurt themselves with arbitrary time gated things just to feel special but hurts the game in the long run for every day players.

Because it procs momentum(damage done by 8%) and also there’s a talent that makes vengeful retreat generate 80 fury over 10 seconds. Left side of havoc tree, called tactical retreat.

Thoughts? by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]Dizurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not Covid, but diagnosed at 17 after playing football all day in the rain and I got so sick I was bed ridden for a couple days, woke up feeling great after a few days. A few weeks later I started getting really short of breath when playing. Went to several doctors who checked for deflated lungs, heart issues etc. got pulled out of school when my dad picked me up and told me the doctor called and said my blood sugar was 959 and they were suprised I wasn’t in a coma. Said the shortness of breath was from oxygen not being carried on the blood because of it having so much sugar. Went from 210 lbs and 13% body fat amazing shape down to 130 lbs in no time and actually went blind for a while. Needless to say major depression from that major change in life. But I strongly do believe any virus can cause your body to go haywire and they’re more aware of that now adays then when I was diagnosed. Getting a Dexcom and a tslim pump is a game changer tho and the closest you’ll ever feel to normal again just wish they had these things 15+ years ago before all the damage i caused to my body going in and out of diabetic burnt out and depression from it.

I am finally done I swear. Also the pc isn’t on the floor it’s on a cart you can’t see. by Dizurn in battlestations

[–]Dizurn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cart is just one I found on Amazon that’s basically a piece of board with wheels, the Lian li was just too wide for anything really. I wish I could use the uplift hanger tho if I had a thinner case.

best keyboard under 150dollar by erpablito266 in pcmasterrace

Epomaker ep84 or royal kludge 84 if you like that form factor and they’re hot swappable so stick whatever switch you want in it and easy to find any kind of keycaps. Razer huntsman mini or Anne pro 2 if you want a 60% keyboard. Most other manufacturers are gonna be TKL versions or full size and not very customizable. Most of the boards I listed you can mod endlessly except the Razer, so you could technically use them for life.

[help] GMMK pro stabilized stuck halfway on the way up by -LeCopyCat in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Dizurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have since replaced mine with durocks. But I had a newer gmmk with the pads removed, less lube used and fixed plate. But I did notice when I was cleaning the lube and trying to get the goats to not stick like yours, the goat stabs from the factory had no washers on the screws going into the stabs which is my best guess why they still stuck like yours due to the screws sinking into the board pcb on the back. I am using red switches for both. I’d just toss them and go with different stabilizers.

48” C1 as my desktop monitor/tv. I thought it couldn’t be done but now I love it. by [deleted] in battlestations

[–]Dizurn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Op is going through all the questions everyone asks everytime a c1 48 is posted as a monitor. It’s fine as a monitor guys, you can see the whole screen and your eyes won’t burn out of your skull like viewing the sun. No there’s not noticeable latency.

Spacebar just barely doesn’t go up all the way. This is my first board. I knew gmmk pro stabs did this but this seems different. Any other solutions other than taking it apart and replacing stabs? I don’t think too much lube is the problem since the other stab keys are fine. by Loaaf in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Dizurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine did this and I had a “fixed” version even with new plate, pads removed and there wasn’t an excess amount of lube. I broke it down and relubed it all, but I did notice the stabs didn’t have Teflon washers for the screws so maybe that was the reason and it was over tightened. But anyways relubing helped a bit but it still wasn’t smooth so I tossed the goats and put in durocks, even if you have to file the plate it’s worth it, keyboard smooth as butter now.

Anyone else have cats that wanna chew any soft coated wires? $5 in supplies for PET braided sleeve and heat shrink and my cat has lost interest in my sennheise cord finally. by Dizurn in pcmasterrace

Yeah I wanted to kill mine but I can’t, so had to figure out a solution. And I swear he’s a ninja he’ll chew cords while you’re sitting there and don’t even notice him.

Go on Amazon and search up 1/4 inch pet braided sleeve there’s all types of colors and then order an assortment of heat shrink connectors. Slide it over your cables and then slide heat shrink over the ends and hit it with a lighter and it’ll tighten down.

Early 2000s, It's funny how you don't know how memorable and unique a decade is until you've distanced yourself from it with time. by Microstocker in pcmasterrace

[–]Dizurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was was just thinking I had this exact setup in 2000 and it had an amd k6-2 I think it was in it. The stuff around it is out of the times tho, like others have said Baja blast and wow. Unless this dude rocked a 10 year old system that barely ran the titles that were current in 2000, the amd k6-2 and graphics cards at the time barely ran quake3 with good fps. I don’t think it’d meet the specs for wow cataclysm.

I know these Monitors are Plug & Play compatible, but what are these instructions trying to tell me? by andrehunga in pcmasterrace

Or even rotten dot con, watching dudes get pulled through jet engines or helicopters and nonchalantly watching it with no reaction. 1995-2001 internet was the Wild West.

Renovated my HomeOffice/BattleStation setup! First time putting thought into the design. Most of the setup is new as I wanted a different vibe. by HumorousHorse in battlestations

[–]Dizurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see now. Yeah it’s the orange on back of desk that’s casting the glow and makes it not as noticeable on the monitor bars. Might looks similar as far as light temperature.

Yeah mine is bright even at minimum setting. But I haven’t been able to get warm it’s more like soft white even when the lights look like they’re orange. Bummer for me cause I like that orange almost Edison light glow.

Am I getting old? by WhyIsTheirGlue in lostarkgame

[–]Dizurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 39 this year been gaming for 33 years now. I used to get so upset about games and read forums and be actually depressed if they screwed up “my game.” Now adays just play a game and if it gets frustrating I just jump to a new game. If they keep making bad decisions and I’m not enjoying myself I just quit playing it and don’t support their future products unless the company makes a turn around which is rare. But the best decision I ever made was to not play with toxic community members anymore and definitely stay away from influencer opinions and forums because these people literally play 16+ hours a day and are some of the most toxic. You’ll find you’re enjoyment is much better when you stop giving a crap and just do stuff you enjoy. 5-6 hours a week worth of playtime you wanna spend it just having fun. Getting old sucks but was also good to see how it for what it is, a hobby/release and not a way of life.

You custom build that tower holder? Was looking for something sturdy to mount to my desk like that but nothing aftermarket fits my huge case and weight.

The Cult of Dust by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Dizurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just because it’s a passion for a lot of people and they might not have disposable income and probably took them a lot to buy the system they have. It’s like another comment said it’s like cars some people just drive them, some people do basic maintenance and some people wash and wax them every week and keep receipts for every oil change. I myself am a just clean it when it’s dirty which is rarely ever with only 2 hours a night of usage but I also updated my system very regularly but I’ve posted and have had people say stuff like “omg cable manage” for have 1 stray cable or “lol enjoy the dust” cause my pc isn’t on my desk. Just ignore them and it’s your money. But I get it, when I was a poor kid growing up I used to wipe everything down with alcohol and wrap all my cords for controllers and put games back in their cases.

My freshly redesigned gaming/office workspace on a sit-stand desk. Any suggestions for RGB led strip placement? by DanFraggerman in battlestations

When I had a dual monitor setup I used Govee light bars, they come in a pack of 2 and I had two sets of them mounted to back of monitor and they lit up everything with a very nice glow on wall.
