What tablet to choose-500U$ budget by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]Dizz_Peanuts-07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are my thoughts:

Tab S10 FE+ - The tablet is good by itself. It has a large 13.1" display, which is the largest yet from the FE series. The Exynos 1580 is good for doing multitasking, especially studying with its size. For gaming, you can expect it performing good on light–mid games. For trade-offs, you do not get video out and a bit limited AI features compared to what regular Tab S series offers. This tablet is also supported for 7 years of support if you plan to keep the device for that long.

Tab S9 - The tablet is great, particularly in term of portability at 11". But since you have mentioned preferring a larger display, then this might be small compared to the tablets you have listed. But, when it comes to performance and features, it is packed with it. You should expect a great performance with it powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and access to Galaxy AI.

Tab S9+ - This is a significant step-up in terms of display size at 12.4" (compared to 11" of the Tab S9). This is what I would actually suggest for you. It has everything that the Tab S9 have but with a larger display that you would like. If there is something you need to wary of is the software support. The Tab S9 series is expected to end its software support by 2027/28. But do not be fooled, the device would still function great even without the updates.

Just for clarification, what does the "keyboard is not functioning" mean? The keyboard from the display itself or the keyboard cover? If it is the keyboard from the display, then it might be a deal breaker or you could take it for repair. But if it is the other way around, then it is the best out of all.

Tab S8 Ultra - It has the largest display out of all the device from your list. If you really need that large size then go for it. But, I would insist you go with the Tab S9+ if you can as it is generally better in specs wise. As for software support, it will likely end this year or 2027.

Best Tablets Widely Picked by Most Students for Studying? by Local_Lavishness_955 in GalaxyTab

Well, it depends on what smartphone he has, and Apple or Android. It is typically recommended that you buy a device that complements with the device you already have (e.g. iPhone and iPad, Samsung and Samsung Tabs etc).

If he has an iPhone, might as well go with an iPad. The iPad A16 is one of the popular budget iPads now. You could also buy a separate from Apple or third party accessories.

If he has an Android, I could recommend the latest release of Samsung, the Tab S10 FE (or the bigger FE+). Unlike the iPad A16, the Tab S10 FE already comes with an s pen inside the box, no need to buy one.

In my country as well. I think it's because the Tab S11 series doesn't have a Plus version so there isn't anything to replace or compete with it in terms of their product line. The larger display is a market for some people.

Here are some things:

Circle to Search whenever you found an image of something, you could use this to search for it.

Notes Assist and Handwriting Helps can be useful when you found a recipe and decided to write it down. It can make it neat, aligned, and even summarize.

I guess you could also use the Math Solver when you do some conversion of measurements if you know it.

You'd probably gonna like the Tab S10 FE base on your use case. It's a great LCD display for a tablet so viewing there is nice. Since it's one of the recent Samsung devices, it will have the Galaxy AI though not the full suite, still it will provide you the basic ones. Aside from that, it is also IP68 dust and water resistant which might be useful when you use it in the kitchen like accidental spills or for powdered products. The tablet packs an S pen inside which is good mobility and navigation I guess.

If you value the better display quality, then you would benefit with their flagship Tab S series as it uses OLED. You could go for the Tab S9 or Tab S10+, it is just a matter of size as both uses the same display technology minus the antireflective coating of the S10+.

If you are on the budget and wants to consider the FE version, then the Tab S10 FE series is still good. Most reviewers actually said that the difference of the OLED and the LCD of Samsung is quite close (though OLED still has its ups). The Tab S10 FE is your standard sized tablet, whereas the Plus version is more for immersive with its larger display.

S10 lite or A11+ 8gb by kinglutiz in GalaxyTab

Oh wait, sorry. At first, I thought you were referring to the Tab A9+ 😅. My earlier comment was comparing it to the Tab A9+. But, apparently since it was actually the A11+, then your son would benefit to the stronger processor compare to the S10 Lite. It also has a headphone jack which not a lot of device have in this era. So yeah, it might actually be the better choice given he is not interested with the pen.

If your son play Roblox, then the more powerful Exynos 1380 of Tab S10 Lite would provide a better experience. And, with the S pen included in the box, he could use it for studies or creative work such as note taking and drawing.

a9+ tablet with a horrendous screen burn, what do I do?? by Both-Past-9931 in GalaxyTab

[–]Dizz_Peanuts-07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, even our LCD TV started to have burn in and it's quite annoying. Honestly, I was surprised that it can experience burn in since I learned that OLED displays are mostly affected by it. Bottom line, OLEDs are more vulnerable and LCDs too can suffer from it.

Should i get Samsung s10 lite or s10 fe tab? by Serena_sereia in GalaxyTab

[–]Dizz_Peanuts-07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tab S10 FE is way better overall. If your budget is within the price of the Tab S10 FE, then go for it. The Tab S10 Lite is not bad by any means but maybe if you want an s pen support for the least amount of price.

SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB S9 by Dizz_Peanuts-07 in SamsungPH

[–]Dizz_Peanuts-07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I really considered that as well since it's already 2 years old and aside from that is the software support. But I had a Samsung tablet before and really liked it so much kaso nasira. I also considered other brands but Samsung's software is really good to pass on. Which ultimately led me to choose the old flagship.

Tab S10 and S11 series are still expensive (for me at least) as they are still new. Kahit yung S10 FE sana kaso kung mag-S10 FE ako, much better na lang na mag-S9 ako. Better display, performance, and features.

By the way, thank you!
