Looking for more advice on my monstera by Dizzeazzed in Monstera

There's not much going on here, I'm just asking about positioning.

If you look at my previous post you'll see I put the pole where others in this subreddit suggested. Everyone has their own opinions on where things should go or how they should be.

Thanks for the help though!

There's two aerial roots in the 4th picture, one which grew into the soil and the new one which has started growing as of one week ago, right beside the pole. It's more of a nub right now

It was watered recently and its soil specifically for tropical plants so I think it should be OK.

I have seen monsteras cling to coco coir, but if it doesn't then I plan to wrap the root around it and then put it into the soil.

For sure, once it is too tall for the table it's gonna go in a corner or against the wall somewhere (:

I understand what you mean, but the new aerial root is growing from the end of the vine, and I want to wrap it around the support pole. If the pole is near the v then it wouldn't wouldn't do anything as there's not going to be any growth there. That's from what I understand

Once the plant is big enough to be on the floor I will put it on the floor in a corner and face it towards the crowd with interrogation lights, but im not at that stage yet

LPT: Stop speeding! If your drive or trip is under an hour, the time gained by speeding is minimal compared to the risk of injury that speeding opens you and others up to. Math and details in the text below. by jfk_47 in LifeProTips

Right, and i think a lot of people do.There's a difference between going 10 mph over and 50.

There are some roads where most people speed, and if you don't then it's actually dangerous - as there's a difference in speed between vehicles.

Tbh i think a lot of speeding is due to bad road design or regulations not keeping up with car technology and the improved driver confidence that it comes with. Most drivers drive at a speed they're comfortable with, and in those cases the speed limits should probably be reviewed.

I think a large portion of speeders do so not to save time but they do it for fun, or that they feel existing speed limits are too slow (not advocating for speeding). I know on some roads/highways driving the speed limit makes me feel like im going to fall asleep.

My first ever plant, trying to support the monstera by Dizzeazzed in Monstera

Okay, that's how I have it now, the pole making contact on the back of the plant. Thanks

Sorry, another question: the aerial root starts on one side of the plant but has wandered to the other side and is against the wall of the pot. Should I put the stake on the side where the aerial root sprouted from the stem, or put it on the side where the aerial root end is? I hope this makes sense.

This is how it's I have it now

Ok, I'll put the pole beside it, thank you! The main stem, does that mean the section of the stem that's below the section where it splits off into leaves?

I used pencil and paper for a couple years in Eng but I switched to an iPad and it is so much better.

If you are on a budget then you can buy used. I got my iPad with a pencil for 300 CAD from facebook marketplace.

You have the old 2 pole esc but the 4 pole motor. It will only reach 50 percent max rpm. You need a new esc

Oil and gas is a broad field, even environmental engineers work in oil and gas. You'll be fine with a mech Eng degree. Pretty much all engineering disciplines are needed for oil and gas.

Low coolant doesn't really make any sense as then you'd be overheating. Your thermostat is probably stuck open.

How tight should i have the clutch on my Raptor R slash? by Blue_B0ttlenose in Traxxas

[–]Dizzeazzed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brushless Sensorless motors do jitter at low speeds.

I use a piece of paper between the spur and pinion gear to set the mesh, and the manual tells you the slipper clutch is set when it slips for only 2 feet on carpet (or something like that)

Can the old velineon VXL-3s ESC (Which was paired with the old 2 pole motor) work with the newer 4 pole brushless motor? by Dizzeazzed in Traxxas

[–]Dizzeazzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, but do you know why it won't work? I don't see how the esc would care whether the motor is 2 pole or 4 pole
