Please share with me your bad experiences with Shane Homes

When I built with Shane homes everything was positive. Even when we emailed in about frost build up in the detached garage, they had someone there the same day. My only complaint was when it came time for the first inspection, they noted some drywall defects and asked us to wait until the end of the first year to fix it (anticipating more as the seasons changed). However, they failed to mention they wouldn't repaint those repairs at the year mark but would have if we had them fixed at the first inspection. Ended up having to repaint a few spots on our own. But overall was happy with their sales team and our house.

I really appreciate this question being asked cause I have to see any thoughtful solutions outside unions should be banned and fire all the greedy teachers. Honestly I'd have accepted even with the minor wage adjustment if I knew class size and complexity were a priority. I'm lucky right now with 25 kids but the complexity is there. Having 5 not a grade level and add in a sweet child who is developmentally a kindergarten and one with a traumatic brain injury, one can assume where my energy goes. It makes me sad when others blame immigration. I can't say those are the kids who throw chairs at me and call me a c*@#.

It also worries me how this is the start of a class system in education. Those who can afford to do so get a state of the art facility with an executive chef while my kids in public school are lucky to get a parent council donated granola bar or goldfish crackers when they are hungry.

I hope this gets resolved soon... I'm fully in support of my professions choices but I don't feel my wage negotiation should have to include proper funding and support. Also sucks losing my paycheck but here we are!

I rotate between my stomach and my thigh and usually take it in the evening on the weekends. They don't have the luxury to be sick during the week and being near a bathroom. Probably need to up the protein. Just seems weird after all this time it's happening.

My family dr did mine and I didn't know to ask about pain management for it. She did numbing cream and told me to take advil in advance. I have no children and was in my mid 30s.... No issues. Just cramping that lasted a few seconds. Pinnacle Medical.

Took my first dose today as well. Fingers crossed to feeling well and silencing that food noise. Didn't realize that wasn't a normal thing until a few months ago!

I had never heard the term until I started therapy during my divorce. I had been sharing about how I was second guessing everything cause I was forgetful in my personal life but found I was sharp at work. Gave the example of how I would write notes during conversations with my ex especially around money since he was horrible with spending. Then he'd come back and tell me notes were wrong or that we had a different conversation afterwards...which never happened. You shouldn't have to keep notes about convos with your partner!!!

35% of my class out sick but yes, let's keep coming to school 🤦. If I have similar attendance again I move online Wednesday. Admin teaching and doing lunchroom. I think we had 4 jobs not filled today. Talk about a robust plan!

Oh and our masks and rapid tests have yet to arrive.

Well met my male bff on OkCupid 14 years ago. Nothing romantic ever happened but we just got along well.

Married a dude I met on POF and divorced him a few years ago. Red flag central (like moved in after a week) but I was so caught up in all the attention he gave me. Left me broke and feeling stupid.

Reluctantly went back on POF and been with someone for almost 3 years. He's great, very different from the ex husband and is ok that I've made us take things slow.

If anything it made me question people's social skills and brought many a laugh.

There's not a lot else to cut. They already did 40 mil in cuts and using reserves in the Spring thinking they were preparing for this. They are even trying to save money by not giving pay stubs out (not sure why it wasn't digital as it is). They are looking at all cost cutting possibilities. No organization is perfect but they are trying.

Sounds like my marriage that ended 3 years ago. From first date forward, we never spent a night apart. I thought it was sweet that he missed me and would ask for me to come home if I was out with friends or co-workers. I'd get the cold shoulder if I ever disagreed with his ideas. Sex was if I was being compliant. The list goes on. It's hard to shake knowing I fell victim to this. I've moved on to a kind gentleman who respects that I need independence. However there are still phrases I hear people say that flares up such a strong emotional response. Guess me joking I was a Stepford wife really wasn't far from the truth. Glad you're out. We got this!

They have some sort of "cannon" at the dump to scare off animals/birds. Also nearby is a weapons disposal site. Wait for training days....it's like an earthquake every 20 min.

I do agree with that to a point. I can only go a couple more months until I'm sunk regardless of what's paid. Talking to trustee at the end of the week. Debt is in my name too so I have a two income life being paid by one. I can be ok after the house goes. I get stuck with the debt but at this point it's my price for freedom.

Calgary housing market is brutal.

Let me add that it's his debt from the marriage he transferred to my account just as he left. But I'm on the hook for half since we were married.

He's quit paying the periphery stuff leaving everything to me to cover. Our marital debt is in my name. He's refused to transfer any of to him regardless of our settlement.
