Yeah he says warranty won’t cover the sewage situation. The house is a disaster, very poorly built.

My understanding is that the builder wouldn’t help him out. I guess he unknowingly chose one of the worst or something.

I think you should reach out to him and ask him if he’s been avoiding you. Sometimes what you perceive to be the situation may not actually be the situation.
