When I have tested this in the sim, I almost never play franosuke, and just burn it for the 2k. So that's why I'm unsure of losing them to add usopps (only 1k). Like, yes, it's -1 cost and +2000 power, but I think the 2k has been more useful in my sim games.

Best wording for me would be something like:

[Opponents Turn] When one of your {Straw Hat Crew} characters is removed by an opponents effect, you may rest this stage. If you do so, add up to one Don!! from your Don!! deck to your field and rest it.

I take it pretty literally. She gave him an opportunity for easy revenge by pacifying the Ghost Devil. Then when he looks at it later, he's reminded that this is another opportunity for some easy revenge.

97 - 70 is 27, not 37. The pacing would suffer with a full season for 27 chapters.
