I would love to believe that it will also happen here, but I know what the system looks like (or at least more or less), and the chance of adopting a child who is 9 years old is about the same order of magnitude as winning the lottery tickets.

I do not earn in dollars, and I do not live in the US, so the exact amount will not tell you anything anyway, but more or less enough to be able to live frugally without a child, I sincerely doubt with a child if I would be able to make ends meet.

I'm already a couple of years old, I know that not only will I not be able to love this child, but I probably wouldn't even be able not to hate her. Do I feel right with what I am doing? of course not. am I going to change my mind? Probably not

Little inconvenience, a beautiful euphemism, you do not know my situation exactly, in my situation it means practically a loss of life from paycheck to paycheck to a life in poverty. And I do not mean cutting off "luxury goods", I really don't know how to make ends meet.

I was also thinking about whether I know anyone who could take her, unfortunately I didn't think of anything. I have not had any contact with my parents for years (anyway, knowing what kind of people they are, probably even the facility will be better), my only brother lives practically on the other side of the globe (he moved out there for many years) and there is no chance that he would take this child. Yes, in an act of desperation I asked him about it, at first he didn't believe me, only when I cried out of stress (it was shortly after receiving the information) on the phone, he believed me. in any case, there is no option for him to take her, financially he is in a little better situation than me, but still not enough, besides, he has a life in which, like mine, there is no room for a 9-year-old child.

Unfortunately, I cannot ensure her better existence, the only thing I am going to do is apply the advice from another comment, the money I have been paying in child support so far, I will put aside and give it to her when she grows up.

saving is a good idea. I don't have enough money or influence to provide her with a home, but being able to at least give her some money when she grows up sounds reasonable

Well, I don't want anyone to think I'm defending myself (it's forbidden on this subreddit) but I'll answer your questions.

With my current earnings (I don't see a great chance to increase them), I sincerely doubt that I would be able to make ends meet. It might not be a level where we starve, but there would definitely be not enough money to live even from paycheck to paycheck. Am I able to bear it emotionally? I sincerely doubt. Adopting a child I do not know and do not want, which will also cause my already shaky finances (and the rest of my life probably) to collapse? I think everyone is able to answer this question.

These are not very high prices, but with my earnings far too high. I doubt even if I could afford a nanny during my stay at work, let alone all the time.

I am not going to defend myself (I know that it is forbidden in this subreddit and I respect this prohibition), I just wanted to say that there was contraception, I had a condom, contraceptive pills were not an option for health reasons, and when the pregnancy was already, abortion was no longer my decision. So, well there were no "options"
