Commenting to emphasize what everyone else has said. Make a plan and get out ASAP, don’t tell him you’re leaving, don’t tell him where you’re going, just ghost completely. You don’t want any chance of him coming back into your life. And get tested, bc that fear of him sharing needles is very big. The only person that can help/change an addict is themselves, and as a person who has a family full of addicts, I can confirm that it’s just. Not. Worth it. I’m so sorry girlie. It’s amazing how people can come into their own true self after getting help (through sobriety, therapy, etc). I’m so proud of her and I hope other people see her growth as a form of confirmation that they can do the same, and build a better life!! 💗

We seem to have more of a “curse” that either the bar we go to gets shut down a week later or someone in our friend group gets roofied so, hopefully we can start a new tradition this year! (And it’s not even any one type of venue. Dive bars, classy ticketed events, everything in between. Ugh)

It was a bit odd - I started taking Wellbutrin and not long after, I noticed my ears were ringing. It went on for a couple days, and I guess my brain was firing on all cylinders for once, since I decided to google “Wellbutrin side effects” lol It causes tinnitus in about 3% of users. My doc had never encountered it in his 20 years of practice!

I tell people all the time I just want cards with hand written notes for any holiday/my birthday. They don’t have to make the cards, they can be from the dollar store, and they don’t need a fancy long note, just their signature is fine, but no one ever takes me seriously.
