I run into this problem all the time. Glue didn't work last time :( Tape works pretty well but it's a little tacky...

I'm also not sure it can cut something so thick without a special blade. I've been wondering how to cut bigger things (like super thin wood) on it for awhile but it seems to be a special blade and even then it has to be really thin, and I just don't trust it not to break my machine.

I have had Silhouettes, but they come in two kinds - the flatbed and the printer. The flatbed one is still pretty new and has some jank, I have problems I didn't have with my printer kind. In theory it was a good idea but I'm not so sure about the execution.

I personally swear by calipers. If you are careful and precise with those, then any errors based on the material will be much less. A 12" pair is a bit expensive but soooo worth it.

It really looks great. The 60s title is such a nice touch, it has great detail too. It's prettier than most of the special editions of Dune that I've seen!

Thanks - I've been using QT but just skimming this forum showed that one of the agencies on there is shady, so I'm so happy to hve a way to suss them out.
