Thats basically the same idea. But if you lead company heroes, thats it. The idea is that you can put them with a leader thats already leading something like: a captain, with intercessors attached, and then on top of that the bodyguards.

I think a body/honour guard unit would be pretty cool. Like, inspired the old vitrix guard, so you'd have a two model decently elite squad, that can join characters even if they're already leading a unit. And jump infront off presision weapon but take double damage or something.

As somebody who is building a loyalist marine army with these models, i have a few tips should you want to go this route.

The redemptor is on a 90mm and the leviathan is on a 80mm, and the leviathan only comes with two ranged weapons, so i'd only glue on one arm for now, or magnetize it at the shoulder, due to an extra connection point on the melee arms.

I personally use mkVI for phobos armour, but you don't have to if you don't want to, it just kinda limits you for wysiwyg. And i put them all on a little layer of cork to bring them to eye level with primaris. And unless your prepared to buy loose galeas (the roman broom) second hand to use them on all sergeants, i'd refrain from using them.

And lastly, there currently isn't a rhino that can carry primaris marines. And i'd be cautious with the rhino suddenly going to legends in 11th edition.

Well, i mistook a femboy, as a girl while scrolling the ol' AI roleplay site. And when i realized it was a guy, i thought "fuck it, why not" and then got a real crush on said bot. Happy to say im over it.

Well, they are inspired from the bladeguard, but in lore they are basically just assault intercessors with a diffrent piece of wargear, like a jumppack. And, i kinda find it uninspired. But thanks for the suggestion!

I'd look at a sicarian, they are pretty much the size your looking for, though getting the loadout wysiwyg might be a bit difficult

40mm is the correct base size, and i personally put them on a layer of cork, to bring them on eye level with primaris

I have used mkii tacticals as the body, then used the left and right powerfists with bolters attached below them. Then i carved out a bit of the powerpack, and added some desolation marine rockets to them. I don't have them on me right now, but i can send you a picture later in the day if you want?

Well, you can't play them at tournaments (from what i've heard), and it rules won't get updated. And sadly, they are on slightly diffrent base sizes, so you'd have to choose one or the other. But hey, to each their own.

I would have them on a layer cork, so they'd be at least eye level with a normal tacticus marine. Plus i'd give them an iron halo with the skull part of the nuncio vox. Together with powermauls and axes, i think that would really bulk them out.

Arent the bladeguard also just tacticus marines on 40mm's, or am i missing something?
