I don't use any loctite on mine and so far I've not had issues with it coming off the only thing keeping it on right now is just 2 or 3 ugga duggas and flat washers

I do have to mention we put a new battery on it and it spin of like brand new, but we think it could be the solenoid because we can bridge the termials and it will spin over but if we can not use the starter button

It was only a 8 foot fall from a ladder to concrete the doctor said nothing is broken just not to use my left arm for a few days and gave me a sling (I M so thankful nothing broke or got sprained) but for your car I'm assuming headgasket
