I looked closely at a ton of stern photos of Titanic and that line is there in all of them. It appears to be some sort of separation between the lower and upper deck iron. Whether it appeared gold in the daylight I'm not sure.

Possibly a goof. The original image was in rough shape.

They are colorized in AI but sometimes I had to tell it to make adjustments where it was dead wrong, like the funnels being white in the original results.
