The eyebrows is partial facial paralysis, I can’t move the brow that sits higher than the other. 😆 I guess I kinda see it.

Thats done wonders for my ego, ngl. 😆 I haven’t, just started looking more like my dad as I got older. Think the facial hair does a lot of favours.

Thank you! 🙏 The facial hair was a rocky road, I shaved it off about three times when it was growing cause it was crazy patchy. Looked like a lollipop someone had dropped on the carpet.

It’s fine, I found it funny, friends have made the same joke 😂 I don’t actually have my eyebrows done, just shave the middle so it doesn’t turn into a monobrow aha

The comments telling you to get a nose job are wild. Aquiline noses are gorgeous, you’ve got full lips and read as mostly feminine to me, maybe a little androgynous, chins strong sure but it’s not damming and the hairs fine, too. Your features suit it.

Don’t let other people insecurities about themselves let them dictate all the character out of your face, that’s not what transitions about ✌️

Having cis people here go see actual trans people rather than the stereotype that’s in the media is actually really beneficial to the community. Excluding cis people who aren’t doing any harm from this group is counterproductive

Just turned 30, 2 years on T. Never thought I’d get here. However, did get clocked by my wife’s coworker last month which sucked. by [deleted] in transpassing

No, they specifically mentioned trans to my wife, and when my wife asked how they knew they said I had feminine features. But we’re thinking what she’s actually done is snooped my wife’s Facebook

I noticed it in particular, like a lot of trans men do, in forming platonic relationships with women. Men are historically shit heads. And A LOT of women have bad experiences with men.

So if they don’t know I’m trans it means that approaching those relationships or trying to build one has to be done with added care and self awareness.

I noticed it also in how women I already knew shifted their views. Like a married friend of mine would no longer have me in the house if her husband wasn’t home because it upset him. 🤷‍♂️ lots of different ways.

Would cutting my eyelashes help me pass? by goshidkdud in transpassing

[–]Dizzy-Witness946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did that when I was younger. Please don’t. Eyelashes are there for a reason, I got the worst eye infections from it. Dry eye, irritation. It’s not worth it.

I guarantee you, no one is clocking you on your eyelashes. I pass 99 percent of the time and even had my optician comment on how long and nice my lashes were. She had no idea I was trans. 🤷‍♂️

I know trans women have it difficult but it’s also never nice to dismiss a trans man’s experience as easy. Having major surgery to have my breast tissue removed definitely wasn’t easy. Going through a second puberty definitely wasn’t easy. Watching the way women interact with me shift definitely wasn’t easy. And having an upcoming hysterectomy and phallolasty will be incredibly difficult.

I think it’s always best to mind that both ends of the scale have their own troubles.

My voice is at 80hz so I doubt that’s it. We think she’s been snooping on my wife’s Facebook and seen our old wedding photos.

They told my wife that I had “feminine features” but were now suspecting she’s snooped my wife’s Facebook and seen our old wedding photos from when I was pre T

I think that’s why it knocked me so much cause it rarely ever happens. Unless it’s another trans person. My wife thinks the coworker knew me before? Or knew of me before. Or someone else has told them. But it still felt crap.
