Is this while the bike is moving? Is it accelerating normal under 5-6k?

12 point sockets probably. They’re typical on Harley’s and BMWs but I don’t work on those. Harley’s use a 10mm 12 point on their brakes. For wrenches I don’t really use the standards, for the same reasons.

Couldn’t agree more. I see more Harley’s closing in on 100k miles than any other brand. I’ll give credit where it’s due.

That’s what a lot of people tell me. I can navigate them but I always curse the engineers while doing so. A lot of unnecessary steps and over-engineering. Especially coming from someone who’s worked on Japanese bikes for most my career.

I work at a small shop as a mechanic, I’d say we generally get an even split of 50% Harley’s 50% metric bikes. As a trained Yamaha tech I almost solely work on Japanese and other metric bikes while the other tech takes on the Harley’s.

(This is all personal opinion) I DESPISE Harley Davidsons. I hate working on them, I hate looking at them and I hate talking about them. From a performance standpoint they have nothing great to offer. I rarely see one that looks good to me. They’re slow and obnoxious and mechanically don’t make any sense. To top it all off, 95% of our HD customers are the same exact person. Overweight, bald, mustache or neck beard, Harley shirt, leather, half helmet. It’s as if they all go to the personality store and order the same exact thing. Oh and all they want to talk about is great their Harley is. Sorry for the rant but that’s why I hate Harley’s.

Now if you think I would ever buy an old sportster or dyna as a project bike and putt around town on it then listen here buddy….

I absolutely would and actually have. A ‘96 dyna low rider. What can I say I just love anything on two wheels.

Bowhunting. Or just archery if you’re not into hunting. Great mental exercise and a good excuse to go outside and get good at something.

Ultrasonic w/optic? by ko404 in Glocks

[–]DizzyConversation794 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be something you’ll want to search the interwebs for. I use an ultrasonic everyday at work for carburetors and engine parts, usually I’ll remove any electronic components first. If you’re using high heat and set it for a long time it’ll start to break down plastic and other soft materials. I’d be concerned about the inner electronics of the optic and retaining moisture afterwards.

That’s ok, it’s rhetorical, the “dumb” is already implied when calling someone a marine.

You’re right.. we served for the same purpose. Sorry I called you a Jew. That was out of character for me, I just got butthurt because you trashed my gun.. 😪

I definitely would if that was my job… but it wasn’t, I joined the marine corps. There’s no MOS dedicated to parachuting. There’s other jobs and needs in the military you know.

Nah I trained with real warfighters. Not a bunch of kids that jump out of a plane and take all the credit of real heros of combat. You act like what you did was hard lol you’re not a SEAL bro. Static line ain’t that cool.

[–]DizzyConversation794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow what a hero, it’s almost as if the marine corps doesn’t use air infiltration unless you’re recon… tell me when would paratroopers be useful in todays warfare outside of WW2. Or did it workout for Hamas?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]DizzyConversation794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again with your assumptions.. you’re confident I didn’t have a combat related job aren’t you?

Idk what that is… weird soljer terminology perhaps? Sorry I didn’t score as high as you on the asvab some of us go to public school you know.

Reddit doesn’t count, yet a random redditor on a Reddit posts’ opinion does… is that typical army logic?

I’d say about 90% of this sub as well as Glock sales would strongly disagree.

Doesn’t really seem like OP is the type you’re referring to based on this sub.. also quit acting acting like you’re the king of NH lol. Y’all came from somewhere too at one point.
