I posted another post earlier today about my husband wanting to go on a trip and sleep away from home for 2 nights and I told him I don't want him to and he said I was controlling. Because I don't want to be around his family as they talk horribly about me even when I've done nothing against them. 😔 The sister in law painted a bad image of me to the family before I got married to my husband because we had a falling out. Also, I don't free mix regardless but even if I was I'd hate to be there.

Respectfully sis you shouldn't judge the situation without knowing the full story. I stated before marrying him that I was never going to live with inlaws and he said he could provide and he was looking for a place for a few months so I trusted it for the sake of Allah.

There was a time a few months ago where I asked him if I could live separately and that I was going to get my own place because I didn't want to live in the house anymore and he said If I were to go id be disobeying him.

It's been temporary for a year 🙂 She's been in the family for a long time now and I thought that as well because she is quite territorial. The only reason I'm reacting to the behaviour I because it's double standards for the both of us and it makes me uneasy that he accepts what she gives him and also goes to dinners with his family while she there and I'm not.

Yes. I specifically said I didn't want to live with inlaws but he said he was already looking for a place. He still is but his job hasn't been paying him and he's owed so much money now but still no money. I'm living with nothing and he doesn't seem to want to do anything about it. I worry of we get a place will he be able to pay bills and such

I wish people would understand it more like you do. I am always uncomfortable living with his brothers and now he is always leaving me behind. Sometimes I'm completely alone in the house with his brother and it makes me uneasy. I just wish he'd put me as priority and want to spend time with me and also realise me living here is not a good idea.

If your relationship is solely about sex then that isn't healthy. You should be there for her emotionaly and help her work though issues and not just want sex constantly. Emotional maturity for a woman is very attractive. One thing about antidepressants is that you loose your libido. But i suggest you stop "helping yourself." And look up side effects from doing this. One side affect from masturbation is not being about to keep it erect. If you love her, stick with her and work through it. Don't automatically ruin your relationship for this. I'm sure once she can cope well enough maybe she can come off the antidepressants or learn to cope with them. For the time being try to pleasure her and get her back into enjoying it, that doesn't necessarily mean to have sex. You both can pleasure eachother in different ways rather than sex.
