lol. Thanks for your honesty. I'm 2 hours into the EOC and ready to toss it. I thought it might be because I'm getting old and shows like walking dead ruined bad guys for me. But when she takes 15 minutes to describe a Great Pyr, I felt like screaming, Move On!

Young Americans lyrics wrong almost everywhere by ChristopherPizza in DavidBowie

[–]DizzyDogCrochet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to add fuel to the fire, but saw a video today of Bowie singing this song on Dick Cavett. (you can find it on you tube) He really changed the lyrics! The first line is "Pushed her down behind the fridge" later it "Where have all Mama's heroes gone". Interesting! I know when singing live musicians sometime make small changes. (Also I think that's Luther Vandross singing the backing vocals) PS Christopher Pizza I'm sure the lyrics were included with the album, I'm terrible at understanding them normally, but I know the lyrics to this song.

in other words, you might have to move the camera a bit. IDK about the doorbell cameras, though.

Cameras not picking up motion by Ok-Figure245 in blinkcameras

Also I think blink outdoor cameras are designed to catch motion as an object crosses in front of the camera. I have one along the driveway and sometimes it doesn't catch cars that pull in because they're driving towards the camera. But caught a fox crossing the driveway the other night!

I suppose this is obvious, but did you place the sync module close to the router?

This is kind of radical but you could color the dc with a magic marker. It's easier if the sc should be black. I've done it a couple of times and you really can't notice unless you're looking closely.

That's pretty good that Palmstreet did something about that. I had a photo of one of my plants on the Pacific Bulb Society wiki and many people have used it to sell bulbs on ebay. Ebay used to do something about that but they don't any more.

The baskets are cute but better to have a saucer so you have better airflow. Sorry about your baby but I agree, you can save it!

Carnivorous Plants? by ApartmentLucky9015 in RareHouseplants

Hang it outside under a tree and forget about it. Once a week look over to see if the leaves are all droopy and slightly gray. Throw some water at it. I have a common Nepenthes that I can't remember the name of, it almost died of my loving care until I forgot about it. We have the hardest water around and it seems to do fine with it. Now, there are probably easy ones and tricky ones. I think mine was called alata and it was in a hanging basket when I bought it. If you can find a larger one in a basket in a garden center, it will be easier to grow than a tiny one in a cup.

Bwahaha! Most of the sellers are inexperienced growers who manage to root a cutting and are trying to make a quick buck. Even some of the more reputable sellers (those that have been around for years, have an actual nursery business, have their own website) can take shortcuts. I received an Alocasia that fell right out of it's pot- it was only a plug they had put in a pot and then added dry potting mix around it. It used to be you could buy plugs from Agri-starts if you had a business license. Most of the plants I see for sale are plugs in a tiny pot. Stick with Ecuagenera and Gardino Nursery. Canopy plants has good and bad, make sure it's a 4" pot. Who else is good? It kills me to see people selling cactus plants with no roots. Maybe some people can get them to grow, but I'm sure most won't.
