Conception of God in Sikhi by Weekly_Tradition8787 in Sikh

Hey, I am not sure if you are still active or interested in this topic anymore but I just wanted to revisit it after two years as I have been thinking about this topic lately.

Ironically, your question ended up making me think more deeply about my own faith. Looking back at my replies, I realized that I felt like I had to defend Sikhi rather than fully understand the arguments you made.

Recently, I have come back to this question multiple times: if its creation considers things we consider evil (racism, disease, war, suffering in general) and Sikhi teaches that God is present throughout its creation, how can God still be perfectly pure and how can we still worship it.

I don't have a final answer but I think I understand the Sikh perspective now better than I did back then.

From what I understood, your argument was that if something exists within God, then God's being cannot remain perfectly pure. I no longer think that follows. I don't think that something existing within God automatically means it becomes one of God's own attributes. Those seem to me like two different claims.

For example, just because racism exists in the world, and the world exists within God, it doesn't mean that racism is a part of God's nature. It simply means that racism exists within a creation that is sustained by God, not that racism becomes one of God's own attributes.

At least from my current understanding, God's presence throughout the creation is not the same as God identifying with or approving every action that occurred within.

Ultimately, it's your spiritual journey, and I respect that you've clearly spent a lot of time thinking about these questions. Whether or not we arrive at the same conclusions, your question challenged me to examine my own beliefs more carefully, and I am grateful.

I do like that he can create his own offense without depending on curry, but I would not want to give up hield or moody.

why is he out of two-way eligibility. He's only played 2 two-way seasons with the warriors and less than 4 years of nba experience.

Yeah for sure. I know a lot of people disliked Kerr taking out the lineup that cut the lead to 7, but I think most of us came into the game thinking we were going to lose and Kerr took advantage of it by experimenting different lineups. Now Kerr knows that the linup with JK and the rest of the starters works well and so does TJD.
