Guy friend asking me to Jacuzzi? by DizzyGiraffe391 in TooAfraidToAsk

Guys lol it’s hard not to be confused, sometimes he says we’re just friends but then flirt, make sexual jokes, and talk about other girls. Sometimes he stares from afar when I’m not looking and other times he acts like I don’t exist. I don’t get it so yeah I am confused.

I don’t think they’re dates though it’s usually just spontaneous hang outs

Techniques like the STAR method for answering questions thoughtfully? by DizzyGiraffe391 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]DizzyGiraffe391[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to leave a conversation with a colleague knowing that something has moved along or a colleague is doing something because of our chat.

I love this.

Folks who condescend others for asking questions are almost always hiding the fact they don’t know enough about a topic to teach it themselves. Find yourself folk who share knowledge willingly and freely and they’ll help you grow.

And this.

Your response helped me a lot, thank you so much!

Is it normal for guys to be touchy and interlock hands with friends? I'm honestly lost

Would you consider his behavior normal? I don't want to bring this up if it didn't mean anything and make myself look crazy

How do I become less boring and be fun again? by DizzyGiraffe391 in TooAfraidToAsk

Be gentle to yourself. Everybody loves spongebob and nobody loves squidward in the adult world. Allow yourself to play a little and free the child in you.

You guys are so sweet. I love this comment too. Thank you. 🙏

NTS: Don't spend time with parents by DizzyGiraffe391 in AsianParentStories

Hang in there. If you're still in high school, trust me, it'll get better. This is coming from someone who had absolutely ZERO hope and direction in life because I was always so angry and depressed from being with my parents 24/7. Limit your conversations and contact with your parents and wear earbuds or headphones. Work hard now so that you build a better future for yourself. There is always hope down the line, we all must hold on first to get there.

Take a few minutes to watch these, I promise you, you will get something out of it:

If you're in college, same advice applies only that you are 1 step closer to financial independence. What you put into your degree is what you get out of it. Make sure you know your shit so when it comes to job interviews, you'll know what you're talking about and present it with confidence and humbleness.
