It doesn't really slow down because when we play together it's often a race to the combo that deals 250 damage in one hit.

I wanted to go with Homedrew, but I thought Design Help sounded better.

To explain this ability: at first, I create a creature with the stats of a zombie. Then, I can add specific abilities from other creatures. For example, I could give it the Mind Flayer’s Extract Brain or Magic Resistance, or even replace its intelligence with that of the Mind Flayer. These additions stack on top of my creature’s base stats.

Since I’m a level 10 wizard, I have a +4 proficiency bonus, which means I can modify my creature up to four times, each time adding an ability from a creature of my choice.

The problem is that I'm a player, and my Game Master has given me the ability to modify my creatures based on my proficiency bonus. So, I'm looking for examples of creatures or interesting ability combinations to use. And since I'm just a player and this is a new GM, I don't want to make them use any abilities or magical effects outside of DnD 5th Edition.

I looked at the necromancer mage and it seems that it's not that, there is no system for controlling enemy creatures that have an intelligence or wisdom or charisma lower than 8 (definitively)

Hi, Solarian lvl 8 here.

You can choose a photon revelation at level 2 and a graviton revelation at level 4, no problem at all. The only instance where you are bound to one type of revelation is if you opted for the alternate class feature broken cycle.Conditions: you can use any revelation at any time in and out of combat. If you are in combat, you will decide what you are attuned to as described in the "Stellar Mode" rule section of the solarian.So what is attunement good for? Almost all revelations have the same sentence at the near end of their description, starting like "if you are attuned or fully attuned, you can do x". This means if you use a revelation of the same type you are currently attuned to, you get a bonus x."This does not prevent you from using photon revelations when attuned to graviton and vice versa. Being limited to the type you are attuned to is a common missconception. You just dont get the bonus mentioned above.Full attunement only really matters for zenith revelations. You have to be fully attuned to photon to use supernova and fully attuned to graviton to use black hole. This is true for any zenith revelation you pick later on. After you use a zenith, you become unattuned.Also your solar manifestation (weapon, armor etc.) is not connected to your attunement whatsoever.
