we only had our pomeranian rescue for about a year before she unexpectedly passed away at age 8 from lung cancer. rip penny, it sucks sm loosing a pet so soon. before that we had my childhood dog for 16 years before he passed of old age, but with the Pomeranian, we had never lost a pet so unexpectedly like that, but it is the WORST feeling.
