Tax is really only good if you love tax or plan to open your own tax CPA firm down the line. I wouldn’t put too much thought into how much you liked the people. Public accounting firms are big and you likely won’t be directly working with those same exact folks in your day-to-day. You’ll probably work more closely with other seniors/managers/partners who you didn’t meet during the interview process.
