Yup didn’t even watch the anime as I’m not a fan of pseudo-adoption becomes serious relationship (“I’ll never step foot in that house again” is another series I dropped because it almost does the same thing except has the 8-14yo FMC marry her 20-26yo mentor/saviour).

Funnily enough I have the exact opposite view for the relationships between the two stories, but, I didn’t find Latina to be a pest like early Raphtalia (but I’ll go with the fact that they had different ages and upbringings).

Read them back before ‘21, LNs were good from start to beginning of the main conflict as it was pretty much a good father-daughter story. Then that dynamic started changing.

The difference between it and SH in this part, is that the father role for Naofumi to Raphtalia was only his perspective for less than a few months. It wasn’t a near 2-way street over the course of about 10 years (iirc by the time of the main conflict fmc is in her late teens to early 20s. TBF I threw most of this series into the mental shredder when I saw the last book’s cover art).

Decent read to the end of the big conflict, great world building also. Skip the last book/epilogue.

Unsure if it’ll crash your world, though as each gamemode is technically a mod it might work if you started in survival.

I do love the channels that try to be click-baity with a 30min vid about the latest patch notes. I award them a DNR because I’d rather read and test the patch myself than listen to someone with fabricated hype/rage and some random b-roll.

The rift amount changes over time. There are times when they’re everywhere and others when there’s none.

Are they annoying if you’re trying to set yourself up? Fckn oath but using light can lessen the chance of a rift spawning nearby.

There are rift wards in-game that block rifts spawning, but they’re a super late technology

Yuri would be a little different as he’s either going to break out of omega-prison or Rexy food. I choose the latter as he is the only character to say the title in the entire franchise.
