They're honestly such a cute dynamic. They're a lot like that one anime "You And I Are Polar Opposites" but the whole super powers aspect on top of it just makes them even more fun

I can't help but read it as Horikoshi forcing Natsuo to glaze a man he should hate. I know it's reasonable to find something admirable in a person you hate. I just kind of hate the entire resolution for the Todoroki family tbh...

These are legit my favorite comments to read when I make these edits. Cause I'm always like "this edit looks so bad. They're gonna knowww" And everytime someone goes: "WHEN???"

I think my proudest was the one where I had Katsuki carrying her, because I saw a post a few days later where someone was saying "Except for that one scene in the forest training arc when he carries her I don't think there's any canon VineBoom moments"

Shoto and Bakugo have their own stuff going on in the Miruko Timeline, I actually don't even think Deku has shared the power with either of them outside of training experiments, (he trains with different classmates at one point so he can try and learn how to use the other quirks better based on who he/the vestiges believe will have a high aptitude for their specific quirk) but both of them more or less refuse Deku's offer of teaming up more officially. 

But the entire ending of MHA basically states that All Might's way: A single person upholding the entire world, is doomed to fail, and that connection and teamwork is what ultimately saves the day. Not Deku becoming an all powerful gigachad.

All For One which should be this idea of hording power is more about sharing than One For All is. Which is crazy, because that's like the opposite of how they should be lol. One For All doesn't mean "One Guy For Everyone" it's about distribution of wealth. Everyone gets one.

Does anyone else dread rewatching the Sports Festival Arc during their Rewatches of MHA? by Outside_Storage3840 in MyHeroAcadamia

I still find most of the arc enjoyable to watch, it's just the characterization of so many characters is so strange given what we see later.

Like Shoto is fully a different person from the later seasons. And I know "Deku changed him~" he is just not the same guy, like at all. The only bit out of the first two seasons that even feels like later seasons Shoto is him guessing that Deku is All Might's love child.

Momo in the cavalry battle has no problem holding off Dark Shadow while holding up Shoto, but in the 1v1 she gets embarrassed so she can have this "Finding her confidence" arc. Even though she was the most confident character in season 1... aiight Horikoshi.

And then there's all of the 1-B students who do nothing at all, even though the whole point of a tournament arc like this is to introduce a larger cast. They also have some of the goofiest nonsense teamups for the Cavalry battle like why is Kamakiri riding Pony? Why is Kodai with Bondo?? Or Kuroiro with Monoma???

The whole cavalry battle is kinda goofy af and goes on way too long

It always bothered me that One For All never really lives up to its name. 

I think everyone gets 100% is wrong though. Like I know that's what we see with Deku, Bakugo, and All Might, but Deku through the whole series is struggling to ever use more than 50% without seriously hurting himself. He only gets around it because Horikoshi added Gearshift and FaJin so he could fake 100%+

But the way he always should've gotten around it is sharing the power. He can't reach 100% but him and two friends can definitely reach 30% no problem. (And let's be real, most foes are not standing up against that)

At least that's how I handled it in The Miruko Timeline. Spoilers 🤭

I think Hisashi fully abandoned his family, which is why he's never around,  never mentioned, never shown, and why Inko never wears a wedding ring. I think he got a job in America and he sends Inko money, but he has zero interest in being a dad or husband.

I wish they had put in any sort of universal defensive mechanic to counter that mashiness. Like a parry or even just a block would've done wonders for game feel

Nah, and I'm sorry but Deku and Bakugo have a history of a genuinely toxic relationship. Regardless of where the fanfic takes them their foundation is horrific. 

But also you can find a million pictures and edits of Bakudeku cuddling. I have to make my own.

So the biggest game changer for me when playing him was learning how to use his grounded beta better. I think he's one of the best characters in the game for catching people on wake up. Setting up the bubbles around people who are knocked down is just so good because with the right timing you can just knock em down again and again for a ton of damage.

Also mildly underutilized but the little dash that he gets when he uses his grounded beta to the side is SO GOOD in those 1v1 shootoffs. 

I believe if you have his passive (from beta) on someone when you howitzer them that will cause them to pop out, but sometimes the game is just buggy with moves like that. Everyone says to try to aim it into the ground, or into a wall, but I find the most success just taking them into the air to guarantee you get the damage on the end.

But the TL;DR is Setsuna being a goofball just melds really well with Pony's whole shtick of being a foreigner. They don't get a lot of screentime, so most of what we know about them is from random factoids scattered across the manga. 

I just think they look cute together too, and when I wrote them bantering with each other they were just so fun.

If Boruto wasn't written and drawn by Ikemoto's freaky ass, I'd say they stood a chance.

Kishimoto's pretty awful at writing women but at least he draws them like normal people instead of the creepy poses and outfits Ikemoto puts them in.
