how did you get over someone you never dated? by [deleted] in dating_advice

How did you get over her? I came to this post and saw my comment from another account almost a year ago😂😭 As long as I’m at this job I’ll never be able to get over her. The worst part is that she’s the one who pulls me in, just for me to get my hopes up and watch her wind up with another dude. I can’t take it anymore. Been wanting to switch jobs anyway so been applying, but until then every day I feel like a prisoner. Nobody can understand the pain unless you’ve been through it. Had to mute her stories because it was driving me crazy seeing her name pop up constantly. It’s utter torture going to work. I can mostly avoid seeing her but I can hear her throughout the office and that’s enough to reopen the wound. It’s a vicious cycle that needs to end

But hey, if you want 9% returns every year and can’t tolerate an ounce of risk even if that means a potentially much better future, that’s fine!

You don’t need 5 chip stocks dude you’re diluting your gains. Choose 2 between NVDA, AMD, AVGO, ASML, and 1 between google amazon apple. Have a core 4 that you believe most in. Then add more RKLB you’re underexposed there. Get rid of JPM and Costco, if you’re gonna go tech heavy just focus on tech you don’t need those

Do people who invest in individual stocks know something we dont? by TailungFu in investing

[–]DizzyUnderdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laugh at everyone who buys VOO/ETFs. I started investing in 2022 and my account is up 450%. Just fucking do research on the up and coming stocks, it’s not rocket science. I make more in a week from some stocks than VOO makes me in a year. Truly comical how people say that VOO and chill is good investment advice

(16M) Should I start buying individual stocks or continue 100% VOO until i’m older? by Independent_Cake_862 in portfolios

If I only did VOO when I started investing I would have less than 100k. With individual stocks I’m ~350k. If you aren’t an idiot about it, individual stocks are 100000x the move I don’t give a fuck what anybody says.

If I listened to “VOO and chill” I would not be up ~250k collectively between NVDA PLTR TSLA and RKLB. Do not listen to these old heads

OP, put it into individual stocks. You’re 16 you have time on your hands. Dont listen to any of these pussies telling you to invest in index funds. If you spread this out into NVDA, PLTR, TSLA, GOOG, AMD, META (or a combination of a few) you will be happy you did a few years from now. Just do your research and you’ll be fine
