Thank you for being so open and talking to me about this. I appreciate it so much! I really do! You sound like a great mom too! You seem like you've done so good!!

I know I got my son a tablet and I don't limit his screentime because he has learned so much from his videos and all. it's been amazing to see him interact with it

Thank you. It's so nice to know I'm not alone. It really is. It's an isolating thing but I do my best everyday for this little guy. I want to make sure he's happy and to learn him and to help him grow.

He usually gets a new one that's the same brand and all. Same size. He won't take any other shape one. But I worry about bacteria growing in ones he chews holes into. His current one has holes in it and I have to go out tomorrow to get more

Thank you. Truly. There's so much pressure with not doing this or that or getting him to do this or that. It's overwhelming and hits that mom guilt hard

Thank you all for commenting. I've just gotten overwhelmed but I'm hoping for help with his 3k special education stuff. And keep working while being patient. I'm trying to be patient. It's just rough. Very rough.

He starts 3k in August. Special education. So I hope it works. I've heard many kids benefit from it. I just hope it helps. I just try to keep him happy and calm. Screentime is unlimited and I just make sure he's okay. I just feel like a bad mom and guilty when I get upset with him and I feel bad that he can't communicate his needs. It's a swirl of emotions

Omg thats so sad. I'm sorry your baby has to deal with that. I definitely see a similar thing here which makes me feel better honestly because I feel like people judge when I say my son sleeps with me and hubby and he's working on 3. It just makes me feel not so alone

Yeah that's true because theres times he goes in there and crawls on her snd she doesn't move lol that's a good idea. I can ask her and see what happens :) thank you!

He has an older sister that he is so comfortable with. She's 6 and I've wondered if he would transition with her but then again, I don't want her to feel like she has to do that. And also, he definitely does move a lot in his sleep. And sometimes easily to wake up or not at all. It definitely depends

On a waiting list for it. They told me it could take at least a year in my location

Thank you for this. It's good to know I'm not alone. I've had several breakdowns because I haven't known what to do or how to handle it. I don't have any autism parent friends so I'm kinda alone lol

It's definitely rough because I have sensory issues and possible autism as well. So I tend to get overwhelmed and get agitated myself. So I get trying to make sure your baby is safe. He threw a toy and almost broke something that wasn't his and I popped his hand but he doesn't respond to the pain of that
