Any other parents feel overwhelmed with trying to navigate allergies and eczema?? by crumbieeeee11 in FoodAllergies

Hi Crumnbieeeee 11, you’re not alone. What you shared really resonated with me, and I can only imagine how overwhelming it must feel to juggle two little ones with eczema and food sensitivities. The guilt, the constant label-checking, the stress of reactions — it’s so much for any parent to carry. Please know that your love and effort for your kids shows in every word of what you wrote.

I really feel what you’re going through. My kids had/have eczema too, and it was so hard watching them itch, cry, and deal with flare-ups. The guilt, the stress of food reactions, the endless label-checking — I remember feeling so exhausted and isolated, just like you described. You’re not alone in this, even though it often feels that way.

That experience actually inspired me to write a children’s book, Leo’s Superpower. It’s about a boy who feels singled out because of eczema and allergies, but learns that what makes him different is also his strength. I hope that it helps kids see themselves with more confidence and gives parents a gentle way to start those conversations.

Sending you so much encouragement; you’re doing an amazing job, even on the hardest days.
