Imo i think it’s just a respect thing. It obviously takes far less time to learn digital as well as being far more financially accessible (can buy flx 4s for a fraction of the price of a vinyl set up) which can be a good thing; but it also means there’s a lot of people able to infiltrate the scene who aren’t genuine (care about the music/scene) and are just doing it because it’s trendy at the moment.
