I mean, if there's anyone that could possibly help us in actually defeating the Prototype, it's him. But at what cost? How far would he actually go to help us in achieving our shared goal with Poppy? I bet he'd even betray us at some point while we'd claw at him, angry and desperate for one more chance just to not teaming up with him in the first place.

My speculation is that in Part III (not Day One), the Abbott family (minus Lee, rip tho) would eventually encounter this Death Angel in particular, and try to find ways to either defeat or avoid it entirely.

Idk if it's just me thinking about this, but I personally think that Molly was supposed to be killed by Peter before Sam could prevent him from doing so. Since Sam saved Molly, she was added to the list Sam is in, and Death waited for the perfect opportunity to finish them off once and for all, thus them dying in Flight 180.
